I can't tell you the exact date of the festival at the Walter Reade Theater, all I know is that it takes place every September. However, during the rest of the year, going to this theatre is entirely worthwhile. They present themed series, carreer retrospectives and independent works permanently, so it's not really necessary to wait for the festival.
