I'm very much into small, quiet places where you don't get disturbed by the others. Are there such cafes in West Village, Nyc?(give a different answer) .
I can tell you of a very nice one in Little W 12th St, West Village. It's called Paradou and it's a French bistro, very very small and attractive. Wines are not very expensive and very numerous. The staff are polite(and very handsome, at the same time:) so you have all reasons to try this place.
