I don't know many vegetarian places in downtown NYc, in fact I know only one, which is worth all the attention. Gobo, in Sixth Ave, is very different form the usual vegetarian restaurants. The ambience and the decor are fabulous!! Huge plateaus are available for serving meal with friends :) I highly recommend this place, which is not very expensive, either
