Well, once you get in Brooklyn, make sure you don't miss a drink in Brooklyn Heights Promenade. Offers splendid views of Lower Manhattan. A trip to Coney Island, on "Little Odessa" is also very nice, and so are the bars in Williamsburg, very lively, cheap and friendly. The Museum of the Moving Image is also not to be missed.
