In case you've already visited the major cathedrals in NYc and want to spend some time away from the hustle and bustle of the city, then the Shrine to St Elizabeth Ann Seton in State St could be a suitable option. The place is not exactly a church as much as a refuge for all those who were devoted to The Sisters of Charity.
