The Astor place in The Village, New York City

Astor Square in Greenwich Village, NYC, was named after the Astor family, who lived on Colonnade Row, just south of the street. the place can be considered a worthwhile attraction in the area, hosting a very disputed sculpture- the steel and glass condo, as well as the Coooper union, the public college founded by the millionaire Peter Cooper.
