The Buddhist temples in Chinatown, New York City

Posted 1 year ago by stikka in response to pinpen's question: Are there any Buddhist temples in Chinatown, New York City? (give a different answer) .

Chinatown is very genuinely Chinese, as it's home to Buddhist temples of all sizes. Two of them are very famous worldwide: the Eastern States Busshist Temple, in Mott ST and the Mahayana Busshist Temples, fampus for its 16ft high statue of Buddha, in Canal St. Both of them are worth seeing.
