I remember that one of the places I liked most in Union Square in NYC was teh Tibet House on W 15th St. This cultural residence organizes exhibitions on ancient traditions, and even workshops that include teaching of meditation techniques. Photographs form Tibet are really breathtaking. No entrance fee perceived, so you have all the reasons to go there :)
