Aji Ichiban, in Mott St, Tribeca, is one of the most complex candyshops in town. The name means "awesome" in Japanese and really is awesome. You'll find here much more than peppermint sticks or malted balls. The milk candy prepared in Thai way, the preserved plums, the dried guava are but a few of the specialties.
