There's about 400 houseboats leaving from the lake's five marinas, with room for 6 -12 people. For a 3-day rental, on a 6 person ship, you'll take out about1,200$ from your pocket (get in touch with Lake Powell Resorts and Marinas at 888 -486 -4665). Or, you can just go on a simple boat, and stop for a picnic or camp on the remote sandy coves. Powell is second largest artificial lake in Arizona (trapping Colorado River waters), part of the Glen Canyon Recreation Area. have fun!
