Cheap lodging?(give a different answer) .
Some of the cheapest places to spend the night at in Philly is the North American Motor Inn, at no 4444 on City Ave. I spent a couple of days there and I paid around 60 $ a night. It's a no thrills hotel, but it is cheap, especially if you consider the alternatives.
