Visit the Carpenter's Hall when you go to Philadelphia

Posted 1 year ago by loti in response to avatar jeremy's question: Why is Carpenter's Hall so important? (give a different answer) .

Carpenter's Hall, located on Chestnut tree in the Carpenter's Court is the place where the first Congress convened in 1774. Can you imagine a more powerful symbol for today's politicians? Guess not :) Anyway, this Carpenter's Court also has a museum- the New Hall Military Museum which is also worth a visit!
