So this is how you do your research nowadays ... I used to ponder over books for hours when I was in school ... anyway, I'm gonna give you a hand. The main National and state parks in and around Oregon are the Crater Lake National Park, the John Day Fossil National Monument, the Newberry National Volcanic Monument and the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area (this is where my parents took me quite often when I was little).
