Well, there's the opportunity of a Balboa Passport allowing a week-long admission to 13 of the museums inside at the cost of $30. You can purchase that at the Balboa Park Information Center on El Prado. However, the park is worth seeing, as it represents a unique complex of museums, gardens and a zoo. Buildings display beautiful Spanish Colonial architecture, while the best trail to take in El Prado promenade. Buses no 7, 7A and 7B all lead to Balboa.
