Yap-yap, stranger, Central YMCA Hostel in Golden Gate Ave is good value. A dorm bed is priced at $24 with bathroom on the hallway, while a private room costs $44-55 and includes bath. Boys and girls are mixed, love affairs thrive, and if they resist till the next morning they can continue in the fitness room or swimming pool. The hostel is well equipped :)
