you can try the Cafe Ethiopia (Mission District, 878 Valencia Street), this is the only restaurant that comes into my mind now. I don't know why some people consider it the most adorable place in the Bay Area, I think the food is normal and the decor is ok, but nothing extraordinary. And prices could be more reasonable.
