which are the most interesting places to visit in San Francisco's Civil Center?(give a different answer) .
Despite the fact it is not as fabulous as St. Peter's cathedral from Rome (after which it was designed) the City Hall is a must in San Francisco. It is a spectacular architectural building completed in 1915. I found out that its gold-leaf dome is higher than that of the US Capitol in Washington DC. On the main floor there is a museum you can visit. Location: 400 Van Ness Ave.
