listo in response to jhony's question:
What is so unique about Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco? Forgive my ignorance, pls.(give a different answer) .
First of all, it's absolutely huge! At a 2 miles length, it was the largest suspension bridge in the world at the time of completion (1937). It's purpose is to link San Francisco with Marin County, and crossing is a real adventure. For walks, rolling skates and bikes, there's no charge, while cars are required a 5$ toll provided they come from San Francisco to Marin. Vice-versa there's no fee. Did you know they paint it every week, adding some more 1000 orange gallons each time? My God!
