This club is in the Southwest corner of the city, at lake Merced (you'd better call up 415/4052449). You will learn how to sail on this lake. During the 16-hours course you will be guided by professional instructors. Those who wanna attend the lessons must be over 18 years old. The cost for one course is around $150.
