Howdy, mermaid...Actually, I share your feelings...That's why I spent half of my Sedona holiday in Slide Rock State Park, where the creek drifts swimmers through a natural rock chute. Just take care when plunging, the rocks aren't very soft at touch :) The park is 7 miles north of Sedona in Oak Creek Canyon, with an entrance charge of $5 for up to four people. Add 1$ for each additional person! It's pine-scented and a good picnic place...
