Tacoma Museum of Glass

Posted 1 year ago by avatar elena in response to avatar judemom's question: Any interesting museums in Tacoma? (give a different answer) .

Since Tacoma is the hometown of the renowned glassblowing artist Dale Chihuly, there's also a museum dedicated to this art where molten glass masterpieces are exhibited. The museum is on Dock street, not far from downtown and you can visit it from Wed to Sat in the 10 - 17 interval. Entrance is not free, it costs about 10 $, but you get to see glass artists at work in the Hot Shop for the money.
