Dude, Telluride is one of the best preserved Western ski resorts...it has about 85 ski slopes and some 2,500 terrain for rocky hiking...It's a good spot for ski beginners and intermediates as most of the trails are not harsh. In case you wanna have a view as far as Utah, climb the See Forever trail, Telluride's longest. The town is surrounded by mountains, with dirt roads and an unchanged main street since the first bank robbery...Peace, man!
