The National Mall in Washington DC

The National Mall, but don't think of glitzy stores and shiny clothes - it's actually a historical site. The mall overlooks a green esplanade and it's lined up with monuments: the US capitol in the east, the neoclassical Lincoln Memorial in the West and Washington Monument in the middle. This Washington Memorial is 555 feet high and enables great views of the esplanade where locals take dogs out, workers sunbathe during lunch break and protesters march. ..
