Metro, the best way to get around in Washington

The best way to get around here is the Metro (operated by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority). There are five intersecting "Metrorail" subway lines stop in most major neighborhoods: Red, Yellow, Green, Blue and Orange line. The fares and the timetable are also acceptable, up to $3 (from early morning to midnight). I found a link were you can find more information about the routes:
