The Wichita Gardens on N Amidon St, have more than 9 acres of woody and perennials plants among numerous fountains and pools ($4,5 entrance). So it's great for relaxing promenades and people watching. The Wichita Greyhound Park which is 10 mi north of downtown offers live horse racing all year long.
