The Delaware Art Museum in Wilmington hosts an immense collection of post-1840 American paintings, so it's really worth seiing, whether you're an art lover or not. The museum is situated a few miles west from the city centre and is closed on Mondays. The entrance fee is relatively small, compared to the advantages one has from visiting this place: 7$.
